Kaldr Blend for Cold Brew 250g Ground Coffee
Cold Brew is the perfect drink for warmer days.
Brewed using cold water over a few hours, rather than immediately with hot water, cold brew produces a lower acidity coffee, which is smooth, silky and sweet.
To create Kaldr - from the Old Norse for cold - I selected coffees which I know from experience make for excellent cold brew. Bright, sweet, washed coffees from Africa provide citrus-y and fruity flavours, while softer, funkier natural coffees from Latin America bring body and balance.
Next I roasted specifically to enhance extraction using cold coffee, and finally ground to a particular profile that supports cold brew extraction. Unusually, this coffee is only available as a ground coffee.
